Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Unit Information The Med/Surg unit consists of 29 beds and is supported by a team of 42 staff members. The unit operates on a patient ratio of 6:1, ensuring a focused and attentive environment for patient care.

Shift Information Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 LVNs, 2 Techs, and 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, and 2 LVNs Every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for the patients in your care. Required Qualifications Current and valid BLS certification Experience in acute care settings Preferred Qualifications Background in neuro med/surg Experience with general medicine and orthopedics Typical Procedures Abdominal fluid removal Central line placement Personality Fit The ideal candidate should be a people-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
