Details Short term acute care hospital setting within the Telemetry unit Level II Trauma Center with 426 staffed beds Night shift, 3x12 hours (1900-0730) Every other weekend required Floating required as needed within the department, to the ED for boarding patients, and hospital wide Uses Epic for charting 10-week contract for winter coverage only Requirements Active RN license (CT or Compact) required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required Epic charting experience required Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with Rapid Response/Code team utilization required 1 professional reference required Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring and emergency response within a high-acuity hospital unit Scrub color required: Royal Blue Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted COVID vaccine and booster required with religious/medical exemptions only No holiday RTO permitted for this assignment Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed Radius restrictions waived for this 10-week assignment First-time travelers will be considered Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler Part of the Yale New Haven Health System with free parking available American Traveler Job ID P-781835.
