Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU – Albuquerque, NM 87109 Start Date: November 23, 2026 Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 6-week period). Floating to like units as needed based on facility needs.

Highlights: Level III NICU experience in a dynamic neonatal intensive care environment Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 based on acuity 13-week travel assignment with 24 hours of orientation and onsite module completion Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48-hour work weeks available Up to 4 days of pre-approved time off available Requirements: Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; pending licenses must be obtained prior to start)

Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 and Epic charting system Proficiency in Level III NICU skills including ventilator management, high frequency ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, UAC/UVC management, and neonatal dosage calculations Must reside outside 50-mile local radius Why Join Us?
