Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse Minimum Experience Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and must be comfortable with or have previously been exposed to postpartum care.

Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Fetal Monitoring Required Skills Strong experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) Ability to perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and labor, and conduct amnio infusions Proficient in administering epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV placements, and Pitocin Must be capable of circulating during C-sections Experience in baby catching/receiving (required) Knowledge of APGAR scoring Familiarity with breastfeeding practices Post-Partum Care Candidates should have a strong preference for comfort and competence in all aspects of postpartum care, from the transition to discharge for both mother and baby. Additional Qualifications Scrub experience is a bonus; however, a Scrub Tech is always on site, and scrub-trained RNs may be utilized occasionally for sick calls. Facility Information The unit comprises: 20 total beds 12 Labor and Delivery beds 8 Post-Partum/Antepartum beds (3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR rooms) 6 bed Level II NICU Work Environment There is no on-call requirement. Teal scrubs are provided. Language Preference Multilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Russian or Spanish, are preferred due to the patient population served.
