Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Level of Care (ICU, PCU, MS, Med-Tele, etc.):PCU Number of Beds: 40 Patient Population Adult RN Ratio (Days): PCU 1 to3 / 1-5 RN Ratio (Nights): PCU 1 to3 / 1-5 Scrub/Uniform Color: Royal Blue\ Unit Based Orientation: Precepetor for 3 shifts Nursing Assistant Support : LPN/Aide/Secretary Yes NSTs on the floor Common Patient Diagnosis: Ischemic/ Hemorrhagic Stroke, Neuro Surgical - Brain and Spinal Siezure Minimum years of experience required (exclude school clinicals) 3 years and 1 in Neuro Required Drips / Medications: Morphine PCA, Heavy on pain management, IV antibiotics Basic Certifications Required (BLS, ACLS, PALS etc.)

BLS and ACLS for PCU EMR System: Epic, Cerner, Other Epic Are Staff Required to Float? If so, where?
