Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. This position demands a strong clinical skill set and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and labor patients, and administer amnio infusions and epidurals. Utilize fetal monitoring techniques to assess fetal well-being. Insert IVs and administer Pitocin as needed during labor. Circulate in C-section procedures and assist in baby catching upon delivery. Perform APGAR assessments and provide breastfeeding education and support. Provide thorough postpartum care for mothers and newborns from transition to discharge. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience. Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring. Strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of Labor and Delivery procedures and postpartum care. Ability to communicate effectively; multilingual skills in Russian or Spanish are preferred.

Additional Information Experience with Epic EMR is strongly preferred.

Facility features: 20 total beds, including 12 for Labor and Delivery, 8 for Postpartum/Antepartum, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 ORs, and a Level II NICU with 6 beds. Scrub experience is a bonus, as a Scrub Tech is always on site for assistance. Teal scrubs will be provided for all staff.
