Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Step Down Unit. This position provides care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment, including telemetry and recovery of surgical patients. The role requires experience in medical-surgical nursing and travel assignments, with participation in weekend, holiday, and float rotations as needed.

Job Details Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every third weekend and EOH rotation with staff.

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification At least 1 year of medical-surgical experience Telemetry experience Experience recovering surgical patients Travel nursing experience EPIC experience Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Provides care within the step-down specialty and established clinical skill set. May float onsite to support operational needs. Participation in weekend and holiday rotations is required.
