Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Date : 11/23 or Later Shift : (12*3)

Nights Compensation: Weekly Gross: $2,000.32 Weekly Taxable: $733.32 Weekly non-taxable: $1,267.00 Hourly Taxable Rate (up to 40 hours): $20.37 Overtime Rate (after 40 hours): $30.56 Requirements: 1–2 years of recent L&D experience.

Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit. First-time travelers accepted with relevant high-acuity experience. Basic/intermediate fetal monitoring skills. BLS and NRP certifications required.

Key Responsibilities & Skills: Manage labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patients. Monitor fetal heart rates and recognize abnormal patterns. Assist with vaginal deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and C-sections. Manage high-risk conditions, including preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome, preterm labor, and postpartum hemorrhage. Administer medications, including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and antihypertensives. Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, central-line care, and blood-product administration. Provide newborn care, including APGAR scoring and cord-sample collection. Support breastfeeding, pain management, and postpartum recovery. Perform obstetric triage, fetal monitoring, and sterile vaginal examinations.
