Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, primarily caring for adults and geriatrics with a range of conditions, including cardiac issues, nephrology, strokes, diabetes, and monitoring continuous EEG. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols. Titrate medications such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications as required. Collaborate with a Charge Nurse on each shift, who will oversee patient assignments. Assist and supervise nursing aides and patient care technicians, ensuring effective patient support. Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team and patients’ families. Participate in unit orientation and onboarding processes.

Requirements Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Pass an open book exam during orientation, achieving a minimum score of 90% to ensure proficiency in learned skills. Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas. Must possess a valid driver's license, which will be used to verify your distance from the facility.

Shift and Scheduling Information Shifts: 0630-1900, 1830-0700.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.

Holiday Requirement: Every third holiday. Orientation and Training The initial week will focus on onboarding, followed by 1-2 days of hands-on orientation on the floor.
