Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 6 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology (IR). This rapid-response position supports radiology nursing preparation and holding services for interventional radiology, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound (US) procedures.

Responsibilities include patient care and moderate sedation support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; two years of experience in interventional radiology, emergency room, or intensive care unit settings.

Preferred Qualifications: Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Supports moderate sedation for interventional radiology, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. Patient assignment ratio is 1:1. Call coverage may be required Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.; call coverage is not assigned alone. Navy scrubs are required. The position requires a self-motivated approach with a strong focus on patient care.
