Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room, Augusta, GA: This position supports patient care in a 30-bed emergency department serving a broad range of medical, trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients. The role requires a motivated, friendly team player with emergency department experience and proficiency in National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessment.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Experience working in an emergency room; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessment experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications.

Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: The emergency department maintains a typical patient ratio of 1:4 and performs intravenous starts, electrocardiograms (EKGs), trauma care, cardiac care, and stroke care. Unit equipment includes medication dispensing systems, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and vital signs machines. Self-scheduling is available, with four weekend shifts required per month, including two consecutive weekend days. Royal blue scrubs are required.
