Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Prescott, AZ | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 49-bed Cardiac/Medical Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Interpret and sign telemetry strips at least once per shift; monitor patients on set-rate drips including Diltiazem/Cardizem Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, CVA/TIA, post-cardiac catheterization, and total joint replacement Manage and monitor respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse aides (1:10–15 ratio) to ensure safe, quality patient care Float to alternate campus locations and potentially PCU if qualified, as needed Required Qualifications Active RN license in good standing Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract signing Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Must not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year Preferred Experience / Skills Experience reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips Prior experience with CVA and TIA patient populations Total joint replacement nursing experience Familiarity with Cerner EMR highly recommended, as unit orientation is limited to one shift Why Join Us Work on a structured, well-supported unit with both a charge nurse and house supervisor present, as well as nurse aide support Self-scheduling model offered within a 4-week scheduling framework, providing some flexibility in shift selection Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 797554.
