The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Unit Information Unit Type: Medical Surgical Unit Size: 35 beds Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5 / Nights: 1:6 Common Patient Diagnoses: Adults and geriatrics, including stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, brain injury, critical illnesses, and neurological diseases.

Shift Details Shift Length: 12 hours Shift Timing: Days (0630-1900) and Nights (1830-0700)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Qualifications Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years Required Certifications: BLS Certification Orientation and Training Orientation: Includes classroom training and 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation.

Exam Requirement: Completion of an open book exam during orientation with a passing score of 90% required.

Additional Information Nurse Aides/Patient Care Technicians: Available on the unit with a ratio of 1:10-15.

Weekend Requirement: At a minimum, every third weekend.

Holiday Requirement: At least 2 holidays per year.

Floating Requirement: Potential to float to the MedSurg unit.

Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.
