Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements Education and Work Experience Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Experience in an acute care facility: Preferred Licenses/Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required Essential Functions Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a comprehensive care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes. Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and utilize strategies to promote health and ensure a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward achieving healthcare outcomes. Identify patient outcomes related to their health situations. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and effective patient care. Provide educational opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Deliver health information directly to patients and their families, as well as the treatment team. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate the responsibilities of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
