Details Works in the Telemetry Unit within an acute care hospital setting May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Stepdown unit based on traveler's skill set and facility need Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30 with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation 13-week assignment length Uses Epic EMR Required to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Requirements Active WI or compact RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) NIH Stroke Scale certification required Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience Prior travel nursing experience required Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Additional Information Care provided based on unit assignment, which may include PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry patients Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility Candidates should begin discussing contract extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date COVID-19 vaccination is not required American Traveler Job ID P-781558.
