Job Details Specialty: PCU / Stepdown Setting: Adult acute care unit focused on hematology and leukemia patients Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: 11/2/2026 Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night schedule Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Orientation: 72 hours Schedule Notes: Weekends vary based on unit needs; floating may be required to other MedSurg Oncology units Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Charting System: Epic Job Requirements Active RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience At least 1 year of PCU experience required Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months Required certifications: BLS and ACLS NIHSS preferred Experience with Epic required Strong telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response support skills Experience with blood product administration, central line care, IV therapy, and phlebotomy preferred Travel nursing experience required Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program preferred Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology-related diagnoses Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical decision-making Administer IV therapies, blood products, antibiotics, and electrolyte replacements safely and efficiently Manage central lines, peripheral lines, PICC lines, and IV access as needed Support infection prevention and patient fall prevention initiatives Collaborate with rapid response teams and interdisciplinary partners to promote positive patient outcomes Float to other MedSurg Oncology units when assigned Maintain accurate documentation and deliver care in accordance with unit protocols and best practices Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on safety, professionalism, and patient-centered care Apply now for this Columbus, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and join a team committed to excellent patient care.
