Details Medical inpatient unit in a regional hospital setting Night shift, 3x12s, 1845-0700 start Every other weekend required No on-call requirements 36 hours guaranteed per week Floating required Unit utilizes drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro, Non-DKA insulin, and Amiodarone Requirements Active IA RN license or compact RN license required (IL license required at time of offer) BLS certification required NIHSS certification required ACLS certification preferred Cardiac experience required Epic EMR experience required New grads accepted At least one completed travel contract preferred Must not have been employed by UnityPoint Health in the last 12 months Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Additional Information Provide nursing care on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit utilizing cardiac drip protocols Facility is a Level 3 trauma center Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed Limited time off requests allowed during designated holiday blackout periods First-time travelers are welcome to apply Past UnityPoint Health employees are subject to facility separation policy restrictions No local candidates considered; must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license American Traveler Job ID P-777072.
