Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to join our team on a night shift basis. This role involves caring for pediatric patients across various specialties, including Hematology/Oncology, Medical-Surgical, and others, while also supporting our pediatric emergency department as needed.

Position Details Shift: Nights, 7 pm to 7 am, 36 hours per week Holiday rotation required On-call availability may be necessary during low census hours, specifically from 11 pm to 7 am Weekend commitment: Every 3rd weekend Potential to float to the pediatric emergency department, NICU, and PICU for support Patient Care Responsibilities Manage and provide care for pediatric patients across various specialties Ensure high standards of patient care and safety Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans Maintain effective communication with patients and their families Qualifications Minimum of 24 months of Pediatric and/or Oncology nursing experience is required Experience within the last 18 months in a Pediatric setting is required Hematology/Oncology experience is highly preferred Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records systems within the last 12 months is required Must be willing to float to the emergency department and other units as needed Current and active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification are required APHON certification is a plus Orientations Available November 23 December 7 December 21 If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about providing excellent pediatric care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
