Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Operating Room. This travel position supports perioperative care through both scrubbing and circulating responsibilities. The role requires experience with vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotic procedures, along with participation in scheduled call coverage.

Job Details Schedule: Day shifts with an 8-hour shift designation and 40 hours per week; the position includes two 8-hour day shifts and two 12-hour day shifts, with up to three call shifts per week, including weekend call rotation.

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active Virginia or compact nursing license at submission; at least 2 years of relevant specialty experience; prior travel experience; scrub and circulate experience; vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotic experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience.

Additional Information: The role includes participation in a teaching environment and collaboration with students and new hires. Call coverage is limited to no more than three weekday call shifts per week and no more than three weekends during a six-week schedule.
