Details Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting High-volume facility with 200-300 births per month Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) 13-week assignment length May be required to float Patient population includes antepartum, high-risk antepartum, and postpartum patients Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP AWHONN Advanced certification required (NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu) Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Epic EMR experience required IV start and maintenance experience required Experience with EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) required Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor; Charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Provide comprehensive care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum stages Responsibilities may include circulating and recovering C-section patients, fetal monitoring, and management of high-risk conditions such as pregnancy-induced hypertension and postpartum hemorrhage Skills preferred include spiral electrode placement, IUPC placement/calibration, cervical cerclage and tubal ligation support, and lactation support Must complete OH BCI & FBI fingerprinting promptly upon accepting an offer, including lifetime background checks RTO must be requested at time of consideration and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this health system Previous travel experience preferred but not required American Traveler Job ID P-769657.
