Job Details Specialty: ICU / Critical Care Float Pool Setting: Float Pool covering multiple intensive care units Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: 11/2/2026 End Date: 2/15/2027 Duration: 15 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Orientation: 24 hours Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience required Travel nursing experience strongly preferred Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management Ability to work in higher-acuity critical care environments Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or other formal leadership role Responsibilities Float to various ICU units based on staffing needs and patient acuity Provide skilled care in Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and related critical care areas Deliver safe, evidence-based care to adult patients with complex, high-acuity conditions Manage ventilators, telemetry, vasoactive drips, and other critical care therapies Perform and support advanced procedures such as arterial line care, central line management, chest tube assistance, and EVD monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support exceptional patient outcomes Maintain readiness to float within equivalent or lower acuity units as needed Adhere to clinical standards, documentation requirements, and unit-specific protocols Apply now for this ICU travel RN opportunity in Columbus, Ohio, and advance your critical care nursing career today.
