Details Work in a 10-bed Transplant/Oncology ICU unit (7ES, Floor 7, Building E) 2:1 patient ratios with staffing of 1 charge nurse and RNs adjusted to census (no techs) Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Rotating weekend requirement Uses ventilators, CRRT, A-line, BiPAP, Flow-track, and IV pumps Charting performed in Meditech EMR Floating required to all ICUs, PCU, and BMT units Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Certification required for BMT ICU Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required Strong ICU experience including titrating drips and ventilator management required Experience caring for BiPAP patients required CRRT experience preferred Transplant experience (kidney, pancreas, liver) preferred No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Provide total care for critically ill ICU patients including turning, dressing changes, and trach care Report times are 0645/1845 with clock in/out for lunch breaks Blue scrub dress code required Must demonstrate compassion and strong rapport with physicians and team members Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-648250.
