Job Details Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Location: Madison, WI 53792 Schedule: Day and night 12-hour rotating shifts Shift Duration: 12 hours Weekly Hours: 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/12/2026 Orientation: 20 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Setting: 28-bed acute care medical-surgical telemetry unit Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed Floating: Required to float to similar units as needed Job Requirements Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license Current BLS certification from the AHA Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty Epic charting experience required Successful completion of a telemetry exam prior to start Travel nursing experience required Strong clinical skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line care, IV insulin protocols, and rapid response support Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings Administer medications, blood products, and ordered therapies safely and accurately Support patients with oxygen therapy, IV management, insulin drips, and other specialized care needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, efficient patient care Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate care when needed Float to similar units as assigned and contribute to team coverage Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Support a professional environment that values collaboration, education, and excellence in care Apply now to join this travel nursing opportunity in Madison, WI and advance your career as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN .
