Details Labor and Delivery unit with 14 labor beds, 2 ORs, 6 recovery bays, and 8 antepartum beds Unit staffed with 1 charge nurse and 3-4 RNs plus 1-2 CST per shift Patient ratios of 1:2 for labor and 1:4 for antepartum Uses GE EFM and CPN monitoring equipment EMR system is Meditech/Centricity Perinatal Night shift schedule from 7P-7A with rotating weekends Float requirements include Antepartum and Postpartum (OB assignment only) Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, bilateral tubal ligations, D&C, uterine tamponade devices, and magnesium/pitocin drip titration Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and Intermittent EFM Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required Labor management experience required Ability to circulate in L&D OR preferred US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients Candidates should demonstrate a positive, compassionate, and flexible personality Dress code requires royal blue scrub attire Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-741653.
