Shift Information Shift Type: Days Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Based on unit needs Holiday Requirement: Must work holidays during November and December Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room or trauma setting Required Certifications: ACLS BLS Certification NIHSS PALS TNCC Unit Information Type: Emergency Room Number of Beds: 56 (up to 70 with hall beds)

Patient Volume: Approximately 170-200 patients per day Staffing Ratios: 1:3 for general, 1:4 for low acuity patients Responsibilities The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following: Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment Effectively managing patient flow and ensuring timely assessments and treatments Participating in triage processes, with appropriate testing as required Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation using the Epic electronic medical record system Additional Information Orientation: 1 day compliance training followed by 1 day department orientation Scrub Color/Dress Code: Professional colors accepted No floating or standby requirements RN's will manage their own ER holds and may have assistance from inpatient RNs Location This position is based in a busy emergency department located in a city in the United States.
