Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license - Ohio permanent or compact license required in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment within the past 12 months ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required Additional Information Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management Holiday coverage required for every other holiday COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process American Traveler Job ID P-773901.
