Job Details Specialty: ICU Float Pool / Critical Care Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Contract Length: 15 weeks Start Date: 11/02/2026 Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule Shift Duration: 12 hours Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Setting: Critical Care Float Pool Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend minimum Floating: Required across equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience Current RN license in hand at time of submission BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience required Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management Ability to manage vasoactive drips, cardiac drips, and critical care monitoring Education from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy ICU float pool environment Float to a variety of critical care units based on staffing and patient needs Care for adult patients in Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, MICU, CVICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics areas Manage ventilated patients and perform advanced critical care interventions Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and telemetry findings Administer blood products, IV medications, and sedation protocols as appropriate Support patients with complex diagnoses including transplant and multisystem critical care needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care Apply now for this exciting Columbus healthcare job and take the next step in your travel nursing career today.
