Details Emergency Department setting at a Level I Trauma Center Night shift schedule (4x12 hours), 19:00-07:30, 48 hours per 14-week assignment Float required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of ER experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC Preferred experience in a Level I Trauma Center Skills in respiratory care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to dysrhythmias Preferred skills in care of ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation At least one supervisor reference from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Provide emergency nursing care including triage and management of dysrhythmias First-time travelers will be considered only if they have Level I trauma ER experience Travel experience preferred but not required Returning staff must have been gone from all UK-affiliated facilities for at least 6 months to be eligible as a traveler RTO requests longer than 1 week are not approved except under special circumstances, and all RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-777999.
