Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) Unit Information This is an opportunity to work in an Occupational Therapy unit with a focus on providing exceptional care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The unit features: Number of Beds: 41 Staffing: Approximately 15-20 therapy staff daily across multiple disciplines (PT, OT, SLP)

Patient Ratios: Manage a treatment load of up to 6 patients during an 8-hour shift Equipment: Familiarity with ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADLs is preferred Electronic Medical Records: Meditech Job Responsibilities The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for: Conducting patient evaluations and developing personalized treatment plans Assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Ensuring compliance with therapy requirements, tracking time and charges for treatment sessions Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Minimum of 6 months of current acute care Occupational Therapy experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active licensure in Kansas Preferred qualifications include: Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting Lymphedema certification Neuro certification or relevant experience Best Fit for Candidates The ideal candidate will be a team player who is adaptable and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends. A hands-on approach to patient treatment is essential for success in this role.

Additional Information This unit features a newly constructed 41-bed inpatient facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a full IADL kitchen.
