Details 26-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment Weekend coverage required (4 weekend days per schedule) No on-call requirements Unit equipment includes ventilators, EKG, and Teleneuro monitoring Level 3 EMR system used Typical procedures include IV insertion, EKG, in-and-out Foley catheterization, lumbar puncture, central line care, moderate sedation, and cardioversion Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) One professional reference required No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting Work alongside a team including CNCs, HUCs, RNs, and PCTs/Paramedics on each shift Scrub color requirement: cobalt/royal blue only Team players with an energetic, collaborative attitude are a strong fit for this unit Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered Permanent positions are also available on this unit for candidates interested in long-term employment American Traveler Job ID P-766850.
