Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Elko, Nevada.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Floor, Elko, Nevada provides nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The role requires a collaborative, flexible team member who can provide medical-surgical care and may float to other units as needed.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Associate degree; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required, with ACLS certification obtained within 60 days and PALS certification obtained within 90 days of the start date; 1 year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with pediatric assessments and pediatric medication administration.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Provides care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations. Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7 with team nursing. Weekend coverage is required. No call requirement. Fit testing is available on-site. Scrub color is not designated.
