Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Operating Room, Los Angeles. This position delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients while supervising nursing staff and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, supporting patient education and discharge planning, and promoting a safe care environment.

Job Details Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor. Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Acute care facility experience.

Additional Information: Main operating room and open-heart experience required. Call coverage includes approximately 1015 on-call shifts per month, including 12 weekends per month. The position primarily supports main operating room cases, with occasional heart cases.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, care coordination, implementation of interventions, outcome evaluation, patient and family education, discharge planning, and appropriate delegation of duties. Required vaccinations apply in accordance with organizational policy, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable.
