Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Float Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry Position Overview The Registered Nurse will provide care in the MedSurg and Telemetry units, supporting patients with a range of medical conditions. The role requires effective communication, critical thinking, and strong clinical skills to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Assist in education and support for patients and their families. Participate in unit meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved organization. Minimum of 3 years of experience in MedSurg or Telemetry nursing.

Experience with Meditech software is required. Telemetry experience is preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including every other weekend and holiday.

Work Schedule Shifts will primarily be day shifts from 7a to 7p, with a commitment to work three 12-hour shifts per week. The candidate must be available to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day as needed by the unit.

Additional Information Floating to similar units may be required. A telemetry assessment will be conducted on the first day of orientation. Thrive Staffing Job ID 19424969.
