This role involves managing a mix of acute care patients as well as socially complex patients who are awaiting placement. Location City, State Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients, focusing on both acute and chronic health conditions. Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement interventions in a dynamic clinical environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and support discharge planning. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Document patient information and maintain accurate health records in compliance with established protocols.

Qualifications Current and valid Nursing License. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing. Proficient in the use of EPIC electronic health record system.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle a variety of patient situations, including those who may not have a medical necessity for hospitalization.
