The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring laboring patients, performing assessments, and providing immediate care to newborns after delivery.

Unit Information Number of Beds: 12 Patient Ratios: 1:2 Unit Staffing: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs Equipment: Various specialized labor and delivery equipment Documentation System: CPN, Meditach Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts per month 1 call shift for RNs 2 call shifts for techs 3 twelve-hour shifts per week Floating Policy: Travelers float first Patient Experience Requirements: Shared decision making Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery Advanced Skills Required: Care of the laboring patient Care of the newborn immediately after delivery Circulating and recovering c-section patients Certifications Required: AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM ACLS BLS NRP Dress Code: Scrubs in Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray (not provided)
