Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Medical-Surgical unit. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Location Springfield, TN Unit Information Number of Beds: 27 on each floor Patient Ratios: 5:1 Staffing Support: Unit secretaries during the day shift and techs available on all shifts Equipment: Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allen vital sign machines Documentation System: Meditech Expanse Floating Policy: Flexibility to float between units as needed Schedule Requirements 3 days a week with every other weekend required Qualifications Must Have: Basic Medical-Surgical experience, particularly with post-operative orthopedic patients Advanced Skills Needed: Not applicable Common Procedures: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance Certifications Required: BLS; ACLS preferred but not mandatory Dress Code Required uniform is dark blue.
