Job Details Unit: ED Holds/Telemetry Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Years of Experience Required: 2 years Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff Floating Requirements: May float to med/surg/tele/overflow units as needed Qualifications Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a telemetry setting with a strong focus on cardiac care Skills: Ability to decrease and titrate cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters Essential Skills: Proficient in interpreting cardiac strips; no monitor technician available Patient Care Responsibilities The Telemetry RN will care for patients in the Emergency Department (ED) who are waiting for placement on a medical/surgical unit.
