Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, on call Employment Type: Travel Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse – Travel Contract Location: Community Hospital – Ithaca, NY Facility: 7 Operating Rooms Contract: 13 Weeks Charting: EPIC Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM Department & Specialties: Community Hospital has 7 ORs supporting a variety of specialties, including: Neurology Plastics ENT Breast General Surgery GYN Urology Orthopedics Vascular Endoscopy Call Requirements: Approximately 3–4 weeknight calls per 8-week period One 24-hour weekend call per 8-week period Weeknight call: 9 PM – 7 AM Weekend call: 7 AM – 7 AM Holiday call is required Call frequency may fluctuate based on staffing needs.
