Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel Emergency Department (ED) RN – Georgia Start: ASAP Contract: 13 weeks Unit: 24-bed Emergency Department with a 9-chair vertical-flow area Patient Population: All ages, including cardiac, respiratory, abdominal, diabetic and behavioral health cases ‍⚕️ Patient Ratio: 1:4 Experience: Strong recent ED experience required; not suitable for new ED nurses EMR: Epic proficiency required Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS & NIHSS Key Skills: Triage, high-acuity patient care, telemetry interpretation, IV/lab draws and management of critical drips such as Levophed, epinephrine, fentanyl and propofol Floating: May float between nearby campuses; compact RN license required Weekends/Holidays: Some weekend coverage may be needed; holiday coverage expected Call: None Scrubs: Navy blue ⚡ Environment: Fast-paced ED with limited resources compared with large trauma or teaching hospitals; nurses must be independent and confident managing high-acuity patients Interested?
