Job Title RN – Emergency Room Location Goodland, KS | Critical Access Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting at a Critical Access Hospital Float to Med/Surg as needed — some shifts may be predominantly Med/Surg rather than ER; candidates should be comfortable with both settings Manage a patient ratio of up to 5:1, though typical ratios are closer to 1:3 Collaborate with a team that includes two nurses, one aide, and one staff secretary per shift Document patient care using Athena EMR Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all AHA) Required Qualifications Active Kansas state license or multistate (compact) RN license BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — all through the American Heart Association (AHA) Ability to work in both Emergency Room and Med/Surg environments No mileage/radius restrictions — all candidates are welcome to apply Preferred Experience / Skills Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered Minimum of 1–2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with under 3 years of experience may be considered Familiarity with Athena EMR Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or similar rural healthcare setting Why Join Us Flexible scrub color policy — no set colors required COVID vaccine exemptions are accepted; flu vaccine is not required Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 797081.
