Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Renal care to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on medical-surgical nursing. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions and treatments. Administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records. Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to facility policies.

Shift and Scheduling Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Patient Ratios: 1:6-7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.

Holiday Rotation: Participation is expected.

Floating: May float to other medical-surgical units as needed.

Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Valid South Carolina nursing license or Compact license required, must be in hand prior to start.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Miscellaneous Information Local candidates residing within a 60-mile radius are not accepted. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission and will be assessed based on facility needs.

Guaranteed hours: The facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Block schedule accommodation requests can be submitted but are not guaranteed. Important Note Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please consider this when confirming new or extended assignments during these months.
