Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Edmonds, WA, where you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for patients with a variety of conditions, including those requiring post-operative monitoring and management. Your expertise in critical care will be essential as you work with a team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities: Provide care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and lab results. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and cardiac monitoring. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Float to IMCU/Tele/CDU as needed.

Qualifications: 2 years of nursing experience required. First-time travelers accepted. Active compact license required.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.

Experience with adult, geriatric, general respiratory failure, cardiac, renal, CIWA, and GI patients.

Staffing Ratios: 1:3 patient ratio in IMCU. 1:4 patient ratio in Tele. In this role, you will be expected to perform various procedures such as obtaining 12 Lead EKGs, managing drains, administering breathing treatments, and caring for patients with epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and central lines.
