Details Work in a 26-bed Emergency Department within a 294-bed facility Treats all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension Patient ratios of 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity Uses GE monitors and standard ED equipment Uses Meditech EHR system 36 guaranteed hours per week with varied shift scheduling Every other weekend required No call requirements Floating required to like assignments Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing required Meditech experience preferred Additional Information Team player with an engaged, positive attitude preferred Unable to accommodate requests off for November 26, December 24, or December 25 Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at local rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time American Traveler Job ID P-754902.
