Details Level II Special Care Nursery with 4 licensed beds in a small community hospital Patient ratio of 1:3 Common diagnoses include TTN, NAS, hypoglycemia, and preterm conditions Equipment used includes GE, Baxter, and Natus Uses Paragon EHR system 12-hour shifts scheduled 7a-7p or 7p-7a Rotating weekend requirement No call requirements During low census, staff will complete tasks rather than being floated to other units Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and STABLE 1-2 years of experience preferred Associate's degree required Experience attending high-risk deliveries and utilizing NRP skills and post-resuscitation care required Must not be employed elsewhere full time Additional Information Provide NICU/Special Care Nursery care including high-risk delivery attendance and post-resuscitation care Collaborative, motivated, and self-sufficient problem solvers are ideal fits Scrubs of any color are acceptable; street clothes are not permitted Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Holiday and every-other-weekend coverage required American Traveler Job ID P-778084.
