Details Medical/Surgical Tele unit setting within a hospital Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week Uses Cerner EMR system Requirements Active RN license in DC required, no pending licenses accepted Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA only) 2 years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required 2 years of RN experience required Cerner EMR experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying most recent experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Deliver competent, capable, and efficient patient care in accordance with licensure and training Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care Complete admission assessments within established timeframes per policy Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility American Traveler Job ID P-770391.
