Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU Position Overview The CVICU Registered Nurse plays a critical role in providing exceptional care for critically ill patients within the cardiovascular intensive care unit. This position is essential for supporting advanced medical treatment and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care setting. Current and valid RN license.

Experience in cardiovascular intensive care preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and families on care procedures and health management. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Work Schedule This position requires working evening shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
