Number of Beds: 28 Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 Common Diagnoses: Cardiology, Surgical Oncology, Urology, Complex General Med Surgical Patients Patient Care Aids: 1:10-14 Shifts and Scheduling Shift Length: 12 hours Shift Type: Nights Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Yes, no requests for time off approved during holidays Floating Requirements: According to skill level Self-Scheduling: Yes, per manager for unit balancing Qualifications Required Certifications: BLS Certification Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting Must Have Skills: Ability to care for a diverse patient population and a willingness to teach and precept.

Equipment and Responsibilities Clinical Equipment: Nasal cannula (up to 6L if acute), trach collar. No titration of drips is required.

Telemetry Monitoring: Yes, with centralized monitoring techs; RNs are able to read basic strips.

Orientation: 1-2 days specific to the unit/department.

Additional Information Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue Artificial Nails: Prohibited in all patient care settings; non-compliance may lead to contract termination.
