Unit Information Location: Denton, TX Floor: 5th Number of Beds: 43 Number of Staff: Approximately 70 General Information Staffing Information Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Unit Secretary, 9-10 Registered Nurses (RNs), 4 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 9-10 Registered Nurses (RNs), 4 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Patient Ratios Days: 1:5-6 Nights: 1:6 Equipment and Software Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Required Skills Previous medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting. Preferred Skills Experience with Meditech. Typical Procedures Performed The unit handles a variety of surgeries, excluding cardiac and open neurosurgery. Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to contribute, actively engages in the team, and is able to ask questions when uncertain about processes.

Dress Code Scrub Color/Attire: Royal blue scrubs. Weekends and Scheduling Self-scheduling is allowed within reasonable limits to ensure a balanced schedule. Rotating weekends are required.
