Details Family Birth Place unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1 (estimates, not guaranteed) Utilizes external fetal monitoring equipment Uses Epic EMR Night shift, 3x12, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend hours as required by the facility No call requirements May be required to float to postpartum Requirements Active RN license (OK or Compact) required at time of consideration Required certifications: BLS, C-EFM, and NRP ACLS and PALS certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience at a hospital delivering 350-400 babies monthly No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided Valid U.S. Social Security Number required No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting Black scrub color required Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate for those within 50 miles of the facility Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius American Traveler Job ID P-769437.
