Details Shock Trauma Operating Room setting with 9 rooms 1:1 patient ratio Rotating day shifts, 2x8 and 2x12 hour shifts (07:00-15:30 and 07:00-19:30) Epic charting system required Floating required within specialty and peri-operatively, including pre-op/PACU as needed Minimum of one weekend per month required, which may include on-call coverage 36-hour pre-scheduled on-call coverage required per 6-week schedule cycle Holiday coverage required as scheduled Requirements Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required BLS certification required (AHA only); CNOR preferred Minimum 2 years of OR experience required Must have both circulating and scrub experience Trauma Level II OR experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Epic charting experience required Experience across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedic, neuro, trauma, general surgery, and plastics preferred Additional Information Provide circulating and scrub support across a high-acuity, multi-specialty trauma OR Local candidates accepted at a reduced local rate First-time travelers considered if they have strong relevant experience Must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions American Traveler Job ID P-776307.
